Groovy Mushrooms:
Psychedelic Pattern Design

"Groovy Mushrooms" is a bold and colorful pattern design inspired by the timeless aesthetics of 1960s psychedelia and the free-spirited world of the hippie movement.
The inspiration behind Groovy Mushrooms lies in the iconic visuals of the late 1960s — an era that celebrated imagination, freedom, and the embrace of nature.

In the 1960s, mushrooms became a powerful symbol of artistic exploration, creativity, and expanded consciousness. For many artists of the era, mushrooms — both as a visual motif and as a symbol of psychedelic experiences — opened doors to new forms of imagination, freeing the mind to perceive the world in unexpected, surreal ways.
The journey of Groovy Mushrooms began with hand-drawn sketches to explore the endless possibilities of mushroom shapes.

After refining these elements digitally, I experimented with vibrant color contrasts to amplify the energy and playful spirit of the design.

Groovy Mushrooms is more than a pattern — it’s a visual experience that blends nostalgia with contemporary design. With its lively colors and organic shapes, the pattern adds a touch of retro whimsy to any surface, from clothing and accessories to interior decor.
