Layered textile work exploring the moment when childhood meets adulthood — when a young face begins to carry the weight of becoming.
The piece is built from two interwoven elements:
a delicate embroidered portrait on tulle, stitched by hand;
and a mixed-media underlayer painted on recycled kraft paper, using acrylics and markers.

The composition draws on visual languages from both Eas European iconography and Irish and Slavic folk motifs. The golds, patterns, and textures evoke a space between a myth and reality.
